Pathology and Cytology Lab

In our lab, cervicovaginal (PAP) smears, cytologic materials, biopsy and operational materials of organs are analyzed. These mostly include cervical biopsies, curettage materials, uterine biopsies, endoscopic biopsies of stomach, colon and the remaining gastrointestinal tract, operational materials of the skin, prostate, breast, intestines, gall bladder, appendix, and thyroid.

Modern techniques and equipments are used in our lab, and when necessary, additional diagnostic staining methods are applied.

Reporting the results of the analyses takes usually a couple of (work) days.
