M.D.Assist.Prof. Türkan  TURGAY



Lecturer Turgay, M.D., was born in Tarsus in 1979. She had the medical education in the School of Medicine of Erciyes University from 1997 to 2003. She was resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of Gaziantep University from 2004 to 2009 and she attended Specialty Rotation Training at 70th Year Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital in 2009.

She worked at Adıyaman Kahta State Hospital in 2009 and 2010 to meet the conscription obligations. Lecturer Turgay, M.D., admitted patients in many private healthcare facilities from 2010 to 2016 and she is the member of Turkish League Against Rheumatism (TRASD), Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialists and Gaziantep Medical Association.

Lecturer Turgay, M.D., serves in fields of Acute and Chronic Myalgias, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Diseases (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis), Pediatric Rehabilitation (Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Movement and Walking Disorders, Torticollis), Neurologic Rehabilitation (Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, Motor Neuron Diseases, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis), Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, Lymphedema, Peripheral Nerve Injuries, Rehabilitation for Muscle, Tendon and Nerve Injuries in Hand and Wrist, Polio Sequel, Muscular Dystrophies, Facial Paralysis, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Arthrosis, Treatment of Tendon and Ligament Disorders, Rehabilitation of Congenital Brachial Plexus Injury, Local Intra-articular and Trigger Point Injections, and Dry Needling.

Lecturer Turgay, M.D., is married and has a child and she started admitting patients as Physiatrist at Sani Konukoğlu Hospital.

She is the head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of Health Sciences Faculty in SANKO University.
